Our First Posting

Greetings,

Jody and I are in Bamako working on Programme Sanji- a Weather Modification Program for precipitation enhancement. For more information about the project check out the link.

We arrived in Mali on May 29th and are scheduled to depart sometime in November. Our trip here took us from Chicago-Paris-Bamako! Our luggage, although wet from sitting in the rain in Paris (courtesy of AirFrance), made it safely.

For the first month, we have been busy getting things setup and settling into a daily groove. For the most part our days are the same- eating, sleeping, and going to the airport/radar. We hope to get out and see more of the city in the coming months. Here are a few posts regarding various things we have seen or done since arriving.
